New Mech Warrior Coming to the Xbox 360
Since the release of the new Xbox, I've been waiting for two titles to be released. Mech Assault and Crimson Skies were two of the most played Xbox live games on the original Xbox console. Both have yet to be turned into a new Xbox 360 release. It looks like Mech Warrior will be the first to finally get a release on the Xbox 360 and it's being developed by some of the talented folks that used to work for FASA Studios. They've secured the rights to Crimson Skies and to Shadowrun so there's even more goodness there. I'm hoping Crimson Skies follows behind the new Mech Warrior and could there be a Shadowrun MMO in the works soon? Say it isn't so. Today's a good day to be a gamer.

Mech games are my favorite genre of games. the long standing armored core series is terrible to me. Mech warrior (on pc) and mech assault 1 (for xbox) and chrome hounds (xbox 360) are the best examples of the genre. That doesn't give one lots of options. I'm very happy to hear there will be another addition to that very small list. I hope they include all the elements which make this genre good. Good maps, the ability to customize mechs, the ability to repair and good frme rate and graphics mechs as well as online battles is what makes these games good or bag.
