Happy New Year!  May your resolutions last longer than 24 hours.  :)  It’s a new decade and a new year.  I was watching a montage of sports highlights on ESPN last night just after the ball dropped and I was amazed at all the things we’ve seen in sports.  Add in all the other parts of life and we’ve undoubtedly been through quite a decade.  In 2000, if I had told you that Tiger Woods would fall from grace, the Red Sox would win not one title but two, our country would be attacked by terrorists and financial markets would crumble near the end of the decade, you would have looked at me like I was a lunatic.  Yet all of these things happened, sans a visit to the lunatic bin.  These events changed the way we look at life.  They also made us who we are today.

And as I sit here writing this post, I think about the last decade of my life and I realize that the next decade will be even more eventful.  All the good things and all the obstacles we’ve been through with Elysian Productions Inc. over the past decade have made us who we are and in my view we’re stronger for it.  We’re in a better position to be successful.  We’re in the best position we’ve been in to raise funding and things look like they are coming together.  I’m anxiously awaiting all of the good things and all of the obstacles of the next decade.
