Been a Busy Month So Far…
I’ve been short on posts this month but that’s because it has been quite a busy month for me. That said I’ll fill the blog with updates on various topics of interest to me and hopefully those that read this blog.
The new phone rocks compared to my old one and I’m charged about developing a couple of applications for the Windows Mobile Marketplace. I can easily see a very functional Ages of Athiria client running on a mobile phone. Developers for the iPhone and Windows Mobile have been added to business plan and with the release of Mono.Net for the iPhone from Novell, they might be able to share some of the same codebase. I’m watching what’s happening here which incidentally has me watching Unity 3D again because it uses the same approach to iPhone apps. By the time Ages of Athiria drops, we could see full blown 3D clients on cell phones. Oh, I also have my hands on the new Trapster.Com beta client for Windows Mobile. It’s cool that they are porting this great application to Windows Mobile.
The Patriots looked pretty bleak this past weekend. Only my fantasy football team looked worse. Needless to say, it’s up to Peyton, Reggie and Ronnie to score 86 points for me this evening so I can win my week two game. I’m looking forward to the Red Sox in the playoffs.
I’m going to attend some of the events at Idea Festival this week. Mostly the lunch time events and a couple of the evening events but if you’re there, say hi. I’m mostly attending for the Venture Club Luncheon and Saturday’s Interactive Storytelling session but will be networking with other creative types, looking for potential additions to our team. Maybe I need to start playing the lottery.
I’ve been working on a video pitch for Ages of Athiria to use on our application to the Louisville Angel Network. Perhaps, using a web site is the way to go so that we can reach out to more people at once.
Anyway, things have been busy as you can see from the above.
